Palo Pinto VINELink Is Now IVSS
Texas replaced the county VINE and VINELink platform with Texas IVSS-Counties on September 1, 2025. Sylogist provides the current service. Former registrations were moved, but a migrated user may need to create a new password. Current directions use an account, contact preferences, and notification settings. They do not direct a new county user to create the PIN used in older VINE instructions.
This distinction prevents a stale search path. “VINELink” remains a common name for victim notification, but the live county portal is IVSS-Counties. State prison, parole, and mandatory-supervision events use the separate TDCJ IVSS portal. Neither covers a person held solely by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, U.S. Marshals Service, or ICE. Those agencies require their own locator or record channel.
Search Palo Pinto IVSS Records
The one-person search accepts a full or partial name, DOC ID, SID or state ID, jail ID, or permanent booking number. Enter the first name before the last name and complete the CAPTCHA. Partial fragments can help when the booking spelling is uncertain, but they can also return more people. Open the candidate record only after comparing every offered identifier.

Use the spelling from the booking agency. A SID, TDCJ number, jail ID, or permanent booking number is stronger than a name alone. If only a name is known, compare middle initial, suffix, age or date of birth, arrest date, charge, and county. A broad match is a lead, not proof that the result belongs to the same person.
Palo Pinto IVSS Search Fields
The official county portal displays the identifiers it accepts and warns that a person no longer in custody may not appear. That warning is critical for a release check. The absence of a record may mean release, transfer, a spelling mismatch, a changed identifier, processing delay, nonparticipation, or a temporary feed issue.

Registration can be completed with or without an account, as the portal permits. An account adds tools for contact preferences, notification history, pauses, and maintenance. Select only after matching the right person. Then choose the events and delivery routes that the record offers. Options can include release, transfer, custody changes, or court events, but the exact set depends on the agency feed.

- Choose to request notifications and decide whether to use an account.
- Select the offered event types that matter.
- Add text, telephone, or email delivery information.
- Set contact hours and preferences, then save the registration.
- Return to the portal to update, pause, or review the registration when needed.

That does not guarantee every agency or event is covered. Keep contact information current and confirm significant notices with the official custodian.
Palo Pinto IVSS Participation
The Texas Office of the Attorney General warns that not every county participates. No conclusive static list established Palo Pinto County’s live integration during the research review. Confirm coverage through a known-current search or the IVSS call center. If the county feed is unavailable, use the Palo Pinto sheriff’s current roster for present-custody context and request the booking-out, release, or transfer record for durable proof.
The official roster has Current Inmates, 24 Hours Arrests, and Inmates by Arrest Date tabs. The arrest tab is not a release feed. If someone vanishes, do not label the absence a release. County and TDCJ Alert Boundaries
IVSS-Counties concerns participating jail and court feeds. TDCJ IVSS concerns state prison, parole, and mandatory-supervision events. A person transferred from Palo Pinto County Jail into TDCJ custody crosses from one layer to the other. The county departure is a transfer, not a community release, and a future TDCJ projected date is not the date the person left the county jail.
A person can therefore require both registrations. Follow the county booking in IVSS-Counties while it is active. After state commitment posts, use TDCJ IVSS and the TDCJ offender search. Palo Pinto TDCJ IVSS Notices
TDCJ IVSS is the state layer for a person in TDCJ custody or under parole or mandatory supervision. It is useful after a county felony commitment posts to the state system. The state service can offer notices tied to prison custody, parole processing, and supervised release, while IVSS-Counties follows the events supplied by participating county agencies. Registering in one layer should not be assumed to create a complete record in the other.

Keep the alert category intact when noting what happened. A transfer notice means custody moved. A parole-related notice may reflect review or processing rather than departure. A release alert should still be checked against TDCJ’s actual status, Scheduled Release Date, Scheduled Release Location, or release and discharge data. If the subject later returns to custody, the earlier release remains part of the timeline; the new custody event does not erase it.
Confirm Palo Pinto Release Alerts
Notification systems send alerts; they do not create certified historical records. Preserve the alert with its exact wording and time, then obtain the originating record. For a Palo Pinto County jail event, ask the sheriff for the booking-out sheet and release or transfer order. For a court event, request the signed order from the correct clerk. For state custody, use TDCJ release or discharge information.
An alert may lag because agency data must reach the platform. A paused feed, changed identifier, misspelled name, or delayed update can also affect it. IVSS labels its data informational. Never promise guaranteed notice, and do not substitute it for emergency contact or urgent safety planning. When two sources conflict, favor the agency responsible for the event and seek a corrected record.
Released Palo Pinto IVSS Results
The current county portal warns that people who are no longer in custody may not appear. A released person may disappear instead of remaining on a permanent “Released” card. The retained alert can be useful evidence of what the system reported, but it does not replace the sheriff’s permanent jail-register entry or detailed release record.
Dates must keep their source labels. An arrest date is not a release date. A transfer notice is not community release. A parole decision date is not physical departure. A scheduled date may change, even on that day. Once a date passes, verify the actual release, discharge, or new supervision status.
